Red #40 Chemical Formula: C18H14Na2S2

Red #40 is mostly found in baked goods like baked goods, including pies and cakes. Also found in vanilla frostings. The effects on humans is very similar to the causes of blue #2. It is bad if inhaled, ingested, or contact with skin or eyes. If you get this chemical in your eyes, flush with water for about fifteen minutes. If you get this chemical on your skin, wash with soap and water then cover with emollient. If inhaled, get some fresh air, but if it gets worse, get medical help. Lastly, if ingested, loosen your tight clothing and get medical help as SOON as POSSIBLE.
